The Oak House.

This 5-bedroom, two-unit duplex renovation reimagines a traditional residential structure into a cohesive, elevated living environment designed for both functionality and visual impact. The project included a full kitchen remodel with custom cabinetry, upgraded finishes, and improved spatial flow to better support shared living and extended stays.

Architectural interventions played a key role in transforming the interior experience, including the introduction of custom archways that soften transitions between rooms and add a sense of rhythm and intentionality throughout the space. The design balances durability and warmth, layering modern materials and clean detailing to elevate the original structure while maintaining its residential character.

Overall, the project focuses on enhancing circulation, improving livability, and creating a more refined, hospitality-driven interpretation of a multi-unit home.

  • I managed every aspect of the project from concept to completion: I developed the design, sourced and procured all materials and fixtures, coordinated schedules and subcontractors, oversaw quality control, and handled budgeting.

  • I began working on the full renovation in mid‑September 2025, and the project reached completion in December 2025.

  • As a small, expanding company, I successfully managed all FF&E expenditures, keeping the total under $22,000.
