Luigi Rovati Foundation Museum by Mario Cucinella Architects

In my digital visualization course, we were tasked with creating a completely custom Revit model of the Luigi Rovati Foundation Museum in Milan, Italy. The project was designed by Mario Cucinella Architects, and we were given their reflected ceiling plans, floorplans, and perspective images of the interior.

I modeled the space in revit, then created custom cove lighting, walls, display cases, a lightwell, and a custom domed ceiling. I also created light patterning on the floor, displaying maps of ancient Pompeii’s archaeological site.
